Dengue Fever Cases 3x From 2013

Another Dengue Fever In The News

Quoted from The Stars Sunday newspapers:

Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahya said there were 143 fatalities compared to 47 in the same period last year, mostly in Selangor and Kelantan.

“The Government cannot tackle the dilemma alone”, he stressed.

Dengue Fever Tripled! The numbers are rising and this is not a good sign. Selangor including Kuala Lumpur have the highest number of people and it is easy for mosquitoes to cause more harm.

We will need to take action together to reduce dengue fever.

Dengue Fever Red Alert! Stop It Before It’s Too Late

Aedes Causes Dengue Fever

Our Health Ministry reported that dengue cases have surpassed 76,079 as on 1st October 2014 which is 254% from a year ago. More worrying is that it has fatalities of 146, more than double that of the last year. The highest number of dengue cases is recorded in Selangor with a total of 37,077 which is almost 50% of the total cases in Malaysia. Datuk Seri Dr. S. Subramaniam who is the Health Minister Subramaniam has called the current outbreak “the worst in our national history” and warned of another spike in November at a press conference recently.

This has concerned our Government which is setting up a ‘task force’ immediately to combat dengue fever. The dengue threat is endemic, has no vaccine, uncontrollable and is putting burden on health care costs. It is truly a GREAT THREAT that we cannot ignore – it may strike anyone, rich or poor and our families are not spared.

We have a solution… A revolutionary strategy that solves the missing puzzle in breaking the life cycle of the mosquitoes. How?

Plants are natural habitat for mosquitoes and at some point in their life cycles, adult mosquitoes will inevitably come in contact with plants. Therefore, plants are what we should focus on as part of our mosquito reduction program.

Solution to Prevent Dengue Fever

Spraying Plants with RidMozzieRIDMozzie is a new treatment that is sprayed on plants. It has an innovative Spiderweb technology that uses little pesticides while spreading it to cover the plants completely and protects the active ingredient from harsh weathers. One treatment alone provides a long lasting residue up to 28 days (rain or shine), giving a 24/7, 360 degrees exposure to kill any mosquitoes that land on the plant surfaces.
