Three more dengue fever fatalities were found in Johor Baru this week including a 28-year-old woman in Taman Kobena who had just given birth and died of dengue fever after three days.
The other victims were an 11-year-old girl in Taman Daya and and a 35-year-old Bangladeshi man in Taman Desa Cemerlang. They died between July 5 and 11.
State health and environment exco chairman, Datuk Ayub Rahmat, said from the 14 deaths from dengue this year, eight were from Johor Baru, making the city the highest in the number of dengue casualties compared to other districts.
